The Academy of Movement and Music has always been—since its beginnings in 1971—welcoming and inclusive to people of all races, ethnicities, gender identities, abilities, and ages. We look forward to continuing the culture of diversity in our school and to helping each person develop their passion, joy, and skills in dance, music, and the visual and performing arts. We hope that in the work we do here, we promote lifelong friendships, foster strong values based on equity for all, and that together we can develop ways to express these beliefs and values openly and creatively.
